Playing a musical instrument is rewarding, and for a child, it can help immensely with brain development—not to mention being fun!

If you are someone who enjoys playing a musical instrument, we need your expertise and a bit of your time. No previous teaching experience is necessary. A volunteer willing to teach simple basics or advanced techniques would be a huge asset to the Young Jammers program and a beneficial way to give back to the community.

We meet weekly on Thursday evenings from 5:00pm-6:30pm during the school year and are looking for teachers for all of our instrument classes: guitar, violin/fiddle, mandolin, banjo, upright bass, and ukulele. We can use monthly, bi-monthly and weekly assistance.

If this is something you or someone you know would be interested in, please fill out this very simple interest form. We will then reach out to you with next steps. Thank you so much!

Looking forward to hearing from you,
