CHILI COOK OFF CONTEST: We will have a chili cook off on Saturday night starting around 6:00 pm. Prizes include a Pickin’ in the Pines 3-day pass and gift certificates. Bring your best culinary creations!
Potluck on Saturday night. FFOTM will supply the meat for grilling and a veggie option. Please bring a side dish to share (or your favorite homemade chili!) your friends and family, your instruments for pickin’, warm clothes and friendly pets. FFOTM will supply Sunday morning breakfast (donations gladly accepted).
Directions: From Flagstaff, take I-17 south to the Willard Springs exit (Exit 236), about 17 miles south of Flagstaff. From the exit, turn right onto the paved road that leads to the trash compactor station. Follow the Forest Service road (NF 253) to the north around the backside of the compactor station. We will be camped on the right side (east) of the road within the next half mile or so – watch for signs along the road directing you to the site.
