Runa in Concert

Runa is an up and coming band based in Philadelphia with members also from Ireland, Montreal, and Nashville. You may have seen them perform in July 2013 and 2014 at the Celtic Festival. They were also the teachers at the Grand Canyon Celtic Arts Academy those years. They won Top Group and Top Traditional Group at the Irish Music Awards in 2013.

With their innovative arrangements and stunning vocals, Runa is a band that everyone will thoroughly enjoy. Shannon Lambert-Ryan (vocals), Fionan de Barra (guitar), Cheryl Prashker (percussion), Maggie Estes White (fiddle), and Dave Curley (mandolin, vocals) create a beautiful group based in Celtic tradition with outside influences flavoring the music.
