Richard Smith is a British fingerstyle guitarist, renowned for his variety of styles and techniques, entertaining performances, and engaging charisma. Born in Beckenham, England in 1971, and now based in Nashville, his fretboard fireworks and lyrical endeavors will melt your heartstrings, tickle your funny bone, get your toes tapping, and leave your jaw hanging open. He continues to tour constantly in the U.S. and around the world and has performed or recorded with guitar legends like Tommy Emmanuel, Chet Atkins, and Les Paul. With a repertoire that includes everything from Bach to Beatles, old standards to swinging jazz, and ragtime classics to Sousa marches, his solo show is a showcase of guitar virtuosity, versatility, and just plain fun.
