Feeding Frenzy is a five-member folk outfit from Fairbanks, Alaska. The band is an exercise in polarity – soft melodies and singer/songwriter influenced songs meet high-energy melodious sing-alongs throughout their set. The band, which formed in early 2010, has since been playing shows throughout the state of Alaska and in their home town almost constantly. In March 2011 they traveled to the break-out music scene of the South by South West music festival in Austin, Texas. While there Feeding Frenzy was featured in Paste Magazine’s “100 Bands At SXSW” as well as mention in The Atlantic, Austin360, and other news outlets.
