Larry Unger (MA), banjo & guitar player extraordinaire, has been a professional musician since 1984 and has presented a diverse range of musical performances at contra dances, camps, festivals, and concerts all across the United States, Canada, and Europe. He’s one of the busiest contra musicians around, playing for more than 150 dances every year. Joining him on the fiddle will be a southwestern favorite,
Audrey Knuth (MA) The driving fiddler behind the dynamic trio of new wave contra band The Free Raisins, Audrey has an organic grasp of dance music that allows her to tear it apart and put it back together in a way that moves your feet and lifts your spirit. She
and Larry have been touring as Audacious for two years and dancers from coast to coast
Contra Caller Deb Comly makes dancing fun and joyful. This workshop will highlight that dancing is about connecting with your partner, the music and bringing smiles to the dance floor. She’ll help mold dancers, music and calls into a single experience!
