FFOTM Spring Campout

Mark your calendars! FFOTM is excited to return to our springtime campout tradition. This annual event is an opportunity for members to reconnect, meet new friends, and play music together in the cool pine forest of Northern Arizona. This year’s campout will be held on the weekend of June 11-13 at the Arizona Nordic Village on AZ-180 about 19 miles (30 minutes) northwest of Flagstaff.

Camping: FFOTM has reserved the group “boondock” camping area north of the main lodge, which is suitable for tent, car/truck, and small RV (class B) camping. Porta-potties and handwash stations will be available in our camping area. FFOTM campers are welcome to arrive as early as noon on Friday, June 11th to set up camp. Campsites must be cleared by early afternoon on Sunday, June 13th. Nordic Village also has nine dry RV (no hook-ups) campsites available just off of the main lot for $20/night during the Summer season. Members who are bringing a larger RV can reserve these spaces online at the Nordic Village website.
Jamming and Campfires: Be sure to bring your instruments for a weekend of large and small group jam sessions. In addition to one main group jam, there are always impromptu jams that pop up at various campsites. Open fires are not permitted but propane firepits are welcome. FFOTM will provide a few propane fires, but if you have one, be sure to bring it along.
Dining: FFOTM will be hosting a group chili cookout on Saturday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, and a breakfast of eggs, pancakes, bacon, and coffee/tea on Sunday morning from 7:30 – 9:30 AM. Donations will be accepted during these group meals to help offset the cost. Campers are responsible for all other meals, snacks, and drinks.

Please include your name, number of people in your group, expected arrival day/time, and whether you’ll be ground camping or vehicle camping.
