Join us once again for our annual New Year’s Eve Party! We will have family friendly activities until 10PM and re-entry all night, so you don’t have to miss the Pinecone Drop!
First 50 people in the door will get their choice or New Year’s Eve Swag!
Gravy began as a Wednesday night jam session. Just for fun the guys would listen to all the country classics on old vinyl and would learn the hits of traditional artists writing tunes all along the way. Gravy has played such great events as the Redneck Olympics and The Demolition Derby. You will only find these guys in the dumpiest of dives in Arizona and Colorado, pulling 300 plus fans to their local shows. Gravy won best album in 2005 and best band in 2006 in their hometown, Flagstaff, AZ. Since the release of their first two CD’s, the band has been on something of a haitus only engaging audiences a couple times a year when the guys can get together. Gravy gigs are special events because they are rare. Don’t miss a chance to catch ’em if you can.
January is FFOTM Month at The Garden Thrift Store (formerly Full Circle Trade & Thrift). 100% of proceeds from sales for the month of January will go to FFOTM. This includes sales from the store and the Saturday auction, held on Jan. 6 at 10 am (preview at 9 am). The auction will feature musical instruments that have been donated to FFOTM. The funds received are crucial to the funding of the Young Jammers Scholarship Program, which has just completed its successful first semester.
What we need from you, our members, is to donate and shop at The Garden, especially during the month of January. Donations are especially needed for the auction. Items that sell well are tools, antiques, artwork, boats, cars and other higher end items. The store can use any gently used items. If you have any questions about donations, please email email@example.com.
When you take your donations to The Garden, let them know the donations are for FFOTM. The Garden will also pick up donations. Call 928.214.1094 to find out their pick up schedule.
Every Saturday in January from 12–2 pm, FFOTM will be hosting live musical performances at The Garden. Come on by to visit and shop to support the Young Jammers and Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music.
