Chris Brashear is an exceptional and colorful multi-instrumentalist, a charismatic singer with a high clear voice, and a songwriter who portrays contemporary life with old time flavor. Peter McLaughlin is the 1988 National Flatpicking Guitar Champion who has toured and recorded extensively as a member of Laurie Lewis and Grant Street. Peter McLaughlin and Chris Brashear have been performing together since 1992. Their performances include sibling like vocal harmonies, intricate arrangements and stunning instrumental virtuosity.

Though steeped in bluegrass tradition, they perform many original songs and draw from a deep repository of acoustic roots music. They perform on a variety of instruments including fiddle, mandolin and guitar. Chris and Peter are joined by Grammy Award winner and original founding member of David Grisman Quintet, Todd Phillips on acoustic bass.
